Community Involvement

Finzean School has an excellent rapport with the local community, using the Birse and Feughside Church for assemblies and shows. The minister comes into school for R.M.E. and assemblies.

The senior citizens of the area are invited into school to enjoy shows.

We support Macmillan cancer on a yearly basis, and we participate in red nose day and children in need. Our children regularly enter local competitions ( 3 of them won prizes in the Enchanted glen competition run by Glen Tanar estate).

We are proud of our motto "working together". We involve many local people wherever possible - in maintaining our school garden, and helping maintain our school wood. We run the school with a

family atmosphere where everyone has something to offer.
